As a graduate student working towards earning my Master's in Education, I presently observe and do field research studies with students at the elementary age. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree which has enabled me to gain in depth experience and comprehension in mathematics. I have worked with school children for several years as a Site Director for Champions which provided me an opportunity to help children in many facets of learning. For two years, I tutored mathematics for grades K-12 for our local school district while also teaching online math courses to gifted children. I passionately enjoy teaching and working with children. I believe that ALL children are capable of learning. It is my responsibility to seek out those methodologies that are most compatible for the children in my care. My administrators usually placed those students who were struggling in my care. I don't believe in using just one "curriculum" but am adept at combining a variety of techniques that will best enable the children find out that they are, indeed, capable of learning!
