Experience Summary
As a graduate student working towards earning my Master's in Education, I presently observe and do field research studies with students at the elementary age. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree which has enabled me to gain in depth experience and comprehension in mathematics. I have worked with school children for several years as a Site Director for Champions which provided me an opportunity to help children in many facets of learning. For two years, I tutored mathematics for grades K-12 for our local school district while also teaching online math courses to gifted children.
Teaching Style
I passionately enjoy teaching and working with children. I believe that all students deserve to have a quality education and the opportunity to reach their fullest potential. I want my students to learn the fundamental content of the courses I teach. Beyond that, I hope to foster critical thinking, facilitate the acquisition of life-long learning skills and help develop problem-solving strategies that can be used both inside and outside of the classroom. I hope to help all of my students grow as indivduals in this ever changing world.
