I'm a Junior at the University of Louisville. I'm a Nursing major, and I plan on working as a Pediatric ER nurse. I love kids! I love watching children and students learn and knowing that I was apart of the process! I'm 21, and live in Simpsonville, Ky. I was raised in south Georgia! I have danced my whole life. I am very comfortable working with both indivduals and groups of students. I want to know what my students are thinking and feeling, so I very much prefer a seminar style of instuction. Depending on the subject - be it composition or literature - I break up the time we have into workshops, allowing us to focus on issues or topics of interest or greatest need to the students. If the coursework is grammar or composition, I also encourage a lot of hands-on writing and boardwork when possible. I feel students learn best when they try to express themselves and are then open to honest critical review. I believe that students should get opportunities to review and revise their work as well, presenting only their best efforts at the end.
