During my education program through the University of South Florida I had to complete 3 internships withing the Sarasota County School System. During my 1st internship I was placed in a 5th grade classroom at Garden Elementary School in Venice, FL. In this internship I spent my time working with small groups in the classroom during their reading block as well as working with students one-on-one. During my 2nd internship I was placed in a 5th grade classroom and a kindergarten classroom at Cranberry Elementary in North Port, FL.
