Because I went through the accelerated program I understand the need of hands on activities and alternative learning styles. I bring these into my teaching. I also am a firm believer that doing a lot of problems is the best way to get good at a subject, especially math. I am a high school senior and have been tutoring peers since middle school. Because I am so young I have very few official tutoring hours, however I do mentor freshmen through our highschool EAP program and younger girls through the STEM program.
