I have a Masters degree in anthropology (with minors in zoology and philosophy) and a Bachelors degree in zoology (with a chemistry minor) from Oregon State University. A Little Bit About Me...

I have a PhD in Zoology from The Ohio State University and over the past 25 years I have taught at Columbus Technical Institute and Portland State University. I have taught courses in General Biology, Human Anatomy, Human Physiology, Ecology and a graduate course in Limnology. At Portland State I was also involved in a research program to improve student outcomes. This project attempted to improve student's experiences in a cost effective manner, establish an infrastructure that helps implement technology, and evaluate the effectiveness of educational technology on student learning.
I enjoy teaching. There is something about the educational process, transfer of knowledge to students, that I have always found satisfying.
