I have a masters degree in Enviornmental Biology and a BA in pre-med sciences. I also have an AA degree in Dietetics. My other hat is a long career in writing, editing, and publishing. A Little Bit About Me...

I have always been driven as a student. I earned my bachelor's degree in only 3 and a half years, and I will begin a terminal degree program this fall when I begin an MFA program at Eastern Washington University. I have a Business Speech Communications degree with a minor in English. After achieving that degree, I went on to earn a secondary teaching credential in English. Later, I found an opportunity at UNR to become a tutor at the writing center. There I direct students to better their papers (in all disciplines) by facilitating. We work on structure, content, grammar, and form. Most students leave with a better sense of direction, usually a better grade, and most certainly a better sense of self and success.
