While earning my PhD in Biology, it was a requirement that I teach at least 3 Biology labs each semester. I focused on labs for Biology majors, so that I've mastered the foundation material so well, I can repeat it in my sleep! In addition, my supervision of undergraduate researchers in my lab was a form of teaching every day as we worked on research and learned the protocols. With a degree in Special Education and a Masters in Education I have learned about how children learn best. I have a Florida Teacher's License for teaching ESE (Exceptional Students Education), Spanish, Elementary Education, and other subjects. I taught in the Ocala public school system.
