i am self taught on computers in software and hardware. Went to ITT for 6 months to be an electrical engineer, left due to medical issues. Worked for a C.A.D distributor for over a year in the warehouse and doing repairs and upgrades. Microsoft sent a copy of windows XP before it was released to the public to help set up that operating system to work with different hardware profiles. I have above average experience with computers and helping people learn how to use them.

After I received my degree in Elementary Education, I was a substitute teacher in IA for one year. I then worked, taught and advised at a small private college in Iowa. I have also owned and operated a daycare in my home for over three years. Currently have have spent the past two years as a substitute teacher for the Buffalo, MN school district. With students, I help to make them better writers by helping answer questions, presenting questions, working through the brainstorming and paper-writing process, and helping with formatting. I believe that people learn in different fashions. For example, I feel that some concepts may be better explained with tangible objects while other concepts are learned better when questioned and discussed.
