I have a fairly relaxed style, though I am flexible and can adjust to whatever will make the student(s) most comfortable.
I worked as an ESL teacher in Japan for almost four years teaching people of all ages, from toddlers to senior citizens. The opportunity to live in Japan, coupled with study in university has also given me an intermediate level of Japanese. A Little Bit About Me...

My experience of teaching the families from Brazil was very enjoyable. One high school student said that she learned more at our once a week class than she learned at her daily class in school. I liked incorporating songs and singing to reinforce grammar, which made class time fun. I emphasize conversational ESL and grammar practice. Teaching lessons involving practical life applications I believe is important to non-native English speakers.
After receiving my degree at Northwest College in Kirkland (now University), I worked, enhanced my music skills, married and had children.
