My name is Jim, and I'm excited to have the opportunity to be your or your child's tutor.I am a junior at Georgia Tech now. I have a double major of mechanical and computer science. My GPA is 3.7, and I got a full score of math in all my ACT tests. Also, I am top 25% students in my major. Since 2012, I have taught TOEFL, SAT, ACT and Chinese to students at test-prep and language. I am now doing co-op program in washington, GA.
I review concepts until it's clear that the student has mastered them, and new ones are introduced only when the student is ready. In addition to increasing my students' scores, I help students take ownership of their learning, with the goal of making them an independent and successful student.

I am a United States Air Force veteran and I was responsible for training new airmen on the proper operation and maintenance of survey equipment. I assisted many of my co-workers with math modelling and geometry while they were pursuing their civil engineering degrees. I have 2 Bachelor degrees, BS in Civil Engineering from Georgia Tech (GPA 3.29) and BS in Science from Georgia College and State University(GPA 3.72).
