Relate the subject matter to real life examples as far as possible. Sometimes, it is not easy. Then I take recourse to humor, most of the time laughing at myself. Take special care to meet the individual taste and ability of each student. Not all students are at the same level. I pay special attention to it and try my best to bring them to the level which is demanded by the course.
I designed and implemented lesson plans for 11th and 12th grades:general chemistry and Mathematics concepts. I earned a bachelor of science degree in chemistry with a minor in math. I worked for US Dept. of Agriculture as a methods development chemist which required a knowledge of chemistry, physics, math and statistics as well as high level computer skills. I have taught classes for over 15 years at Athens Area Technical College, University of Georgia Continuint Education Program and as owner and lead trainer for Athens Computer Training, Inc.
I have taught classes for students ranging from high school to adult with course material from the very basic to highly advnced concepts. I was known for covering curriculum material in a through and patient manner. I love teaching and I like to teach using examples.
