I earned two bachelor degrees from the University of North Carolina in December of 2007. From there, I chose to move to Massachusetts to participate in a ground breaking fellowship at MATCH Charter Public High School. I chose this alternate route to receiving teaching certification because of the classroom experience it provided me. I loved helping my friends succeed, so when I went to Duke University I continued to tutor my classmates through the Peer Tutoring Program.
