Turning your weakness into your strength

I have been tutoring for over seven years, starting with my peers in tenth grade. I have tutored a wide range of subjects, from Geometry through Calculus III, from general computer knowledge through utilizing the advanced functions of Microsoft Access. I have tutored people ranging from my peers to people three times my age, to as young as third graders. My motto has evolved into "Helping those who feel they can not be helped"
I help guide the student along, having them discover much of the information in a trial and error fashion. I tend to use the questions they are struggling with the most, making similar examples, then walking them through these problems and breaking down the problems until the student understands the how the process works.

My comments on tutoring Mechanical Engineering : This is my major in college

I like students to understand how the material they are learning can and is being applied to everyday situations. So I often will talk about the big topics that have been covered explain why they are useful and then show the student how to perform various calculations or apply the nessecary logic to solve problems.
I am a Mechanical Engineering and Geology dual major with a 3.6 GPA. I understand mathematics very well and have tutored fellow students in math and physics, successfully for years. I have a passion for learning and love when I can help others learn complex material and pass classes. I studied Mechanical Engineering at Forsyth Technical Community College and I have over 1000 hours of experience using CAD in an engineering office. I am proficient in the latest releases of AutoCAD, Pro-Engineer (which is now Creo Elements) and Solidworks, as well as Google sketch up which is a very useful tool in engineering applications.

I have tutored students in Physics,Math and Chemistry in India,I have tutored students of various levels sixth grade thru college level students.Every students have different level of learning abilities,so different method and techniquies needs to be applied.
