My comments on tutoring Mechanical Engineering : This is my major in college

I am a Mechanical Engineering and Geology dual major with a 3.6 GPA. I understand mathematics very well and have tutored fellow students in math and physics, successfully for years. I have a passion for learning and love when I can help others learn complex material and pass classes. I have aced College Math up through Differential Equations and Calculus 3 algebra, trigonometry and geometry are foundations of the higher mathematics and therefore I understand them extremely well. I know the basics of both electrical and mechanical engineering mathematics. For example, transient circuit analysis for electrical engineering and shear and moment diagrams for mechanical engineering. All types of sciences have always come naturally to me such as chemistry, biology, and physics and I have always done very well in science classes

Turning your weakness into your strength

I help guide the student along, having them discover much of the information in a trial and error fashion. I tend to use the questions they are struggling with the most, making similar examples, then walking them through these problems and breaking down the problems until the student understands the how the process works.
I have been tutoring for over seven years, starting with my peers in tenth grade. I have tutored a wide range of subjects, from Geometry through Calculus III, from general computer knowledge through utilizing the advanced functions of Microsoft Access. I have tutored people ranging from my peers to people three times my age, to as young as third graders. My motto has evolved into "Helping those who feel they can not be helped"

I studied Mechanical Engineering at Forsyth Technical Community College and I have over 1000 hours of experience using CAD in an engineering office. I am proficient in the latest releases of AutoCAD, Pro-Engineer (which is now Creo Elements) and Solidworks, as well as Google sketch up which is a very useful tool in engineering applications.
I think everyone has a unique way of learning and first you have to understand how you learn best. I teach in a way the fits the individual and to provide fun, productive and challenging sessions to give students a sharp edge in facing today's work force.

To me science and math is much easier than history and other subjects, but you must follow the steps and remember the rules.I like to teach by using visual aids, other techniques like math-CAD. I have tutored students in Physics,Math and Chemistry in India,I have tutored students of various levels sixth grade thru college level students.Every students have different level of learning abilities,so different method and techniquies needs to be applied. Being all the tools availabe,now a days learning science is much easier and all the information is available on finger tips.So,none of the child should have difficulties in reaching their goal.
