I have been substitute teaching for 5 years. Within that time I decided that teaching was for me and went on to get my degree and certificate to teach. I have completed several long-term substitute teaching positions, picking up where a teacher left off, often times unexpectedly. I have taught classes in the elementary, middle and high school. My philosophy is that education is power. Knowledge is our greatest defense and our greatest weapon.
