Although I have no formal teaching experience, I do have been developing my teaching style for many years while I worked with the developmentally disabled. I learned to identify a teachable moment, which is a time at which the student would be most receptive to learning. During this past school year I was a practicum student in a second and third grade self contained 15-1 classroom.
