I have taught and tutored since I was sixteen. I currently teach for USC, a few online universities, Syl. Learning Center, and am a Professional Writing Tutor. I teach all grades and university levels, but my specialties are AP Courses and university courses. I have taught everything from 4 yr olds phonics to College level writing and literature to basic maths and sciences to Calculus and Trig.

I believe all children can learn, but that all children learn differently. Having taught special education, I had a range of grade levels in my class. Very often the students would be spread out over three grade levels. Because of this, I am extremely good at tailoring my instruction to different levels and learning types. I try many different approaches to cater to different learning styles. Ultimately, I choose the method based on it's success and also how much the student enjoys it. I am a happy, outgoing, energetic, creative, and passionate individual comfortable in any environment, anytime, anyplace, and am able to talk to anyone about virtually anything. Teaching is in my blood; a passion handed down from my educator parents who taught English, History and Economics. While my brother went on to teach Social Studies, I resisted the family path.
