I continuously tried to improve my methadology to arrive at the right mix of stimulation and information to make the learning process as interesting as possible. Teaching the Physics of Xrays and chemical analysis does challenge one to keep assessing the learned content and modify as results indicate. The results of effective teaching and learning start with asking questions about the purpose of the instructions, how will the results of the learning be measured, and what is educational level of the students? As the oldest of five children, my 15+ years of tutoring experience includes helping my siblings in their homework when we were growing up. I have also taught English for two years at a private Junior/Senior girls' high school in Kyoto, Japan; mentored the English Speaking Society for the high school students; and, more recently, trained three content editors at Intel, as well as developed training classes for HP. Although I did well in math and science during my school years (my mother was a math and science teacher), I consider writing and English grammar my strengths. A Little Bit About Me...

My mother currently works with children with learning disabilities at an Elementary School. From time to time I go to work with her and assist her students with whatever they are currently working on. I understand that everyone learns in different ways. I think that it is a teacher's responsibility to reach a student by the way they learn. I learn best by being walked through something step by step but I can adjust my teaching methods to however my student learns.
At a very young age I decided to be a veterinarian. While I have not yet completed this goal I have stayed true and remained in the biological science field.
