A Little Bit About Me...

I absolutely adore children and the innocence and passion they bring to my life. I believe each child has his or her own particular learning style and method that works best for him as well as his or her own academic struggles. It is a teacher's job to find out what way to best reach each child individually and as a group. Children require much patience and understanding but also lots of fun and laughter. I believe that one great teacher can stand out in a child's mind and heart for an entire lifetime.
As a water safety instructor for the past 10 years, I have worked with children and adults of all ages and at all levels. I am passionate about teaching and about children. For each student this requires a different approach, so I try various methods of teaching and of working on tasks with each student, until we find one that works for him or her.
