I am a very hands on teacher. I like to make learning fun and not boring. I know that all children have the ability to learn have a special education minor to help me teach ALL students. I like to use different approaches for each student as they all learn in different ways. I also firmly believe that each student needs to be met where they are at and taught from that point. Students need to feel successful and safe in the environment in which they are taught in. They should be able to know they can try things that might be a little difficult and feel encouraged and excited to learn new things. A Little Bit About Me...

From as long as I can remember I have had a passion for science and the arts which explains why I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology a Masters degree in Art Therapy. Although I do not have a teaching certificate, I have taught painting for over 15 years at a local technical college. I did a lot of tutoring at the junior high level and helped my own children with algebra and science all through high school. I am a student at University of Wisconsin Fox Valley, receiving my Associate Degree of Arts & Science at the end of May 2011.
