I am a senior in High School. I am a cross age tutor for Freshmen and Sophomores mainly tutoring in algebra 1 - Geometry. I also attend the Center for Advanced Research and Technology. I babysit on Tuesday and Wednesday at Northpark Community Church and help kids with their homework. Mainly with reading and penmanship. I used to be really bad in almost every subject availiable. And my parents hired a tutor for me. Once she taught me shortcuts and explained the process to me, I started to understand. I love working with kids, when they have a problem I have them write it on a white board or on a separate sheet of paper. Then from there I have them ask questions about the problem. A Little Bit About Me...

For almost 20 years I used my BA degree in English to teach a variety of students. With high school students in both the traditional and home school settings, the focus was reading comprehension, grammar, vocabulary, and writing essays and research papers. My foreign exchange worked to become fluent in the English language. Adult students in a trade school environment concentrated on learning basic writing techniques to help them in their desired fields of study. I also had the opportunity to help non-profit organizations in publishing materials.

A Little Bit About Me...

I earned two Associate's degree while playing volleyball for my college and I maintained a 3.5 GPA. I was captain of my team. I can lead without dictating and I am a good listener. I have tutored a wide range of people, ranging from high school students to nurses. I will earn my BS in Biology this year from Fresno State. I am passionate about the field of biology and am involved in undergraduate research at the university.
