A Little Bit About Me...

I began tutoring during my senior year of high school as a favor for a family friend. I soon realized the demand for private tutoring services and began taking it more seriously. While attaining my Bachelor of Science degree in biochemistry, I would frequently tutor friends who needed extra assistance. Years of laboratory experience allowed me to gain an understanding of scientific writing styles, and to expand my writing and researching techniques. I worked as a television and radio writer before earning two single subject credentials, one in English and one in Social Science. I am in my fifth year teaching at a unique charter high school. At my school, I work one on one with my students. I have become quite adept at creating rapport.
