For me, relating to children is effortless; I am quite apt to quickly gaining their attention as well as their confidence. Sadly, many students face the challenge of losing focus; as a teacher, I hope to be able to instill unwavering motivation and drive into each student, and help shape their characters that is essential in fulfilling a rewarding life as they enter into adulthood. A Little Bit About Me...

My teaching style can be best summarized as relatable. With regard to tutoring biology, I use analogies, diagrams, and plain english (as opposed to field jargon) to help students understand. I am patient and greatly enjoy that "Eureka!" moment when a student begins to grasp basic concepts.
I earned two Associate's degree while playing volleyball for my college and I maintained a 3.5 GPA. I was captain of my team. I can lead without dictating and I am a good listener. I have tutored a wide range of people, ranging from high school students to nurses. I will earn my BS in Biology this year from Fresno State. I am passionate about the field of biology and am involved in undergraduate research at the university.

While attaining my Bachelor of Science degree in biochemistry, I would frequently tutor friends who needed extra assistance. Years of laboratory experience allowed me to gain an understanding of scientific writing styles, and to expand my writing and researching techniques.
