All students have the ability to learn and be successful.

I teach using centers and small groups based on the students learning style and level.
I worked with 5th graders during a Reading and Social Studies student teaching. I also taught first grade for 7 years. The first two years were in an At-Risk class and an Inclusion class. The last four years of teaching, I taught an accelerated first grade class and curriculum. I have tutored all ages of Elementary Students for 4 years in all the general subjects.

A Little Bit About Me...

Pre-service teacher at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater. I'll be graduating in December of 2015 with an elementary education degree. My minor is general science. For the past two years My classes have been preparing me to teach children from grades 1-8. A Little Bit About Me...

I love helping children see the beauty in the world we live. That can be through solving a math problem that they struggled with or helping them learn from their mistakes. My goal is to help your child reach their full potential. I believe with the correct learning environment and focused attention a child will be able to overcome all obstacles.
During my study towards at BS in Chemistry I published a paper with a professor doing electrochemical research. I currently work at a small manufacturing company where I purchase raw materials, formulate products, supervise the manufacturing process and check the quality of the end product. Through my studies and work I have learned to apply analytical thinking to real world problems for results. During the past decade I have tutored in mathematics, science, philosophy, photography and literature.
