I teach using centers and small groups based on the students learning style and level.
I worked with 5th graders during a Reading and Social Studies student teaching. I also taught first grade for 7 years. The first two years were in an At-Risk class and an Inclusion class. I love helping children see the beauty in the world we live. That can be through solving a math problem that they struggled with or helping them learn from their mistakes. My goal is to help your child reach their full potential. I believe with the correct learning environment and focused attention a child will be able to overcome all obstacles.
During my study towards at BS in Chemistry I published a paper with a professor doing electrochemical research. I currently work at a small manufacturing company where I purchase raw materials, formulate products, supervise the manufacturing process and check the quality of the end product.
