While attending Birmingham Southern College, I had several teaching experiences: I volunteered as a tutor at a nearby elementary school, tutored in my college's writing center, and worked for three summers as a camp counselor. After receiving a BA in English, I taught high school English conversation in Hungary for a year. I do not have a particular teaching style because I don't believe that a single method works for everyone. Therefore, I operate from an Occam's Razor perspective -- whatever is the simplest solution is the best. I believe I am very empathetic and perceptive, which would enable me to determine what works best for each student.
