I am currently an ASL instructor at a deaf school, I teach the community and I am looking to help others improve their sign language and also gain experience for myself. A Little Bit About Me...

I have extensive experience in teach chemistry to students. In the past while at the University of Wyoming I had extensive one on one tutoring sessions with both college students and HS students (AP students). I have also tutored in math, and physics in the past also.
First, I love helping people learn. I strive to show students and people that chemistry, math and science is all about a thought process and is something that everyone can learn. Teaching sciences is about helping and showing students how to approach the problems, and problem solve not to just solve problems individually. I really do place something of a premium on being able to connect with all of my students on an academic and personal level. I believe that this helps them as they know that their teacher and tutor cares about them and their future and, as such, this causes them to grow and excel. I can attest to such things happening with many of my students and for that I am incredibly thankful.
I have done a lot of teaching and tutoring, both with adults and young people. Most of my experience, though, comes from working with high school and junior high school students. I spent the majority of that time as a tutor/ mentor and would work with the students one on one or in small groups, both in the library or in the classroom. It was really the most wonderful experience and I was able to provide tremendous benefits to the students on both an academic and personal level.
