A Little Bit About Me...

Teaching is my passion and my life. There is no other career that I would desire to teach. I am a very firm, but fair teacher. My teaching styles vary depending on the lesson being taught. Hands on activities are very important to me, and I will incorportate them into the lesson as often as possible. Technology is also very important to me. I have a lot of experience with the Elmo, overheads, projectors, and other programs associated with Microsoft. The description of my teaching style changes with each new class I receive. I am a strong believer in the Multiple Intelligence approach to teaching, as individual students learn in many different ways. In my classroom, expectations are explained at the beginning of each lesson. Because attention spans only last between 12 and 15 minutes, I make sure to rotate activities to insure that my students are engaged.
