Over the last three years I have worked in Hillsborough County as a Middle School Science Teacher. After three years of teaching Science I had a strong desire to work with ESE and Special Needs children so I became a Sub for Hillsborough County so I could travel where need and work with various children. Prior to teaching in FL, I taught in SC and provided reading pull out in WV. During my time in WV I worked on a dual Masters in Literacy and Elementary Education, but was unable to finish it due to lack of aid. While teaching FL, I have also tutored children privately and with a SES service.
I love working with children of all ages. I feel that all children can learn and that even the most struggling learners can improve if given encouragement and success.
