I enjoy being around others that love to learn. I pride myself in my skills and never turn someone down that is willing to learn. I believe that any student can learn what they want to learn if they are given a good chance and the right experiences. I have been taking math classes since my freshman year in high school. Math is by far my favorite subject. I have taken everything from pre-algebra to calculus, including Statistics. I am currently working as a Mechincal Engineer and would love to assist others with their math needs. I am also very advanced in the use of AutoCAD/Drafting for Civil, Architectural, Mechanical, and Surveying. I am a very methodical and meticulous personality. I graduated from the UF in May 2010 with a BS in Structural Engineering and a minor in Latin American Studies and am working on my master’s degree at Virginia Tech in Geotechnical Engineering. After graduating college, I worked as a structural engineer. As my experience grew, so did my responsibilities. I began getting younger interns in college and having to teach them theories and practices of engineering. The mathematics behind these theories involved, Algebra, Calculus, Geometry, and various other mathematics that I recently became certified in with the Florida Department of Education. About 2 years ago, a friend of mine asked me to tutor his son for the S.A.T.'s, his scores improved by about 100 points in the mathematics.
