My major gpa was a 3.4 and I graduated from Rutgers College in New Brunwick which when I attended was the toughest school to get into within the Rutgers University system. Some people need to see the material, others need to write it out for themselves, and some need to hear the material in order to retain it. I usually try several different approaches until I see a positive response from the student.
