My comments on tutoring Elementary Grammar : I am very well versed in grammar. I studied languages and this helped me a lot with English grammar. I studied grammar in high school and college English courses. I taught grammar for over 40 years.

Phonics/Reading teacher certified in the Montessori Method

I'm a certified Montessori teacher having completed 500 hours supervised teaching. I've worked 11 years with children 1 1/2-3, and 3-6 teaching phonics,reading, and independence. My style is casual using objects and pictures to reinforce beginning sounds. Once the child has learned as few as three sounds, we are able to start reading words. Elementary Grammar is one of my top subjects! I have been a Reading Specialist for the last 4 months and am certified to teach language arts K-6 regular education and Special Education. I have a strong passion of working with all different ages to help with grammar. I graduated with honor from Kean University and live in Old Bridge, N.J. currently.

I have worked with students with disabilities of all ages for the last 6 years, and before that worked in daycare and retail. I have a tremendous amount of patience and dedication when I start working with a student. I have been working as a Reading Specialist for the last 4 months. Prior to that, I was working in a self-contained classroom with grades 1-3.
