My comments on tutoring Elementary Grammar : I am very well versed in grammar. I studied languages and this helped me a lot with English grammar. I studied grammar in high school and college English courses. I taught grammar for over 40 years.

I have taught at the elementary, high school and college levels for over 35 years. I taught business, Spanish and math and marketing and many other subjects. Phonics/Reading teacher certified in the Montessori Method

I'm a certified Montessori teacher having completed 500 hours supervised teaching. I've worked 11 years with children 1 1/2-3, and 3-6 teaching phonics,reading, and independence. My style is casual using objects and pictures to reinforce beginning sounds. Once the child has learned as few as three sounds, we are able to start reading words. Elementary Grammar is one of my top subjects! I have been a Reading Specialist for the last 4 months and am certified to teach language arts K-6 regular education and Special Education.
