A Little Bit About Me...

I have an open style to teaching. I believe that if you show someone the subject; allow them to do the task along with taking notes that they retain most of the information. I also strongly believe that the learning environment needs to be fun and enjoyable. I also give my students small test throughout the class, and then give them an exam at the end. I also encourage them to ask questions at any time throughout the course.
I have been teaching computers for over 14 years. Subject that I am able to teach: Any level of Microsoft Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook, Visio, Project). Besides my formal education, I have helped many people while working for Disabled Student Services at Florida Community College at Jacksonville. I helped my blind boss understand the needs of her deaf students. I helped a disabled boy with Algebra and I helped my mom with her math when she went back to college. I enjoy helping younger and older people alike.
