As a first generation college student, I know the importance and significance education plays in one's life. A Little Bit About Me...

I have a lot of experience working with all ages of children. As a teacher, I try to maintain a respectful but friendly dialogue with the student. Especially as a tutor, I want to be able to have an open and honest dialogue with the kid about the work. I am happy always to talk about why certain work is included in the curriculum. If a child is struggling, I know that an initial response is to quit. To assert that certain work is worthless or of no meaning in their life. I would devote a lot of energy to challenging that assertion.
