Over 30 years; I specialize in teaching piano, choral conducting, vocal pedagogy, ethno-musicology, composition, music theory, harmony / counterpoint, and ear-training with solfege. I have taught children 6-18 for the past 30 years. I firmly believe that great education knowledge needs to be unfettered from the towers of elite schools like the Academy of Music in Paris, The Juilliard School, and others; this is why in 2005 I initiated a project called i-Learn Music 4 Free. I am a successful graduate of Susquehanna University, having earned a BA in International Studies. This study of cultural anthropology allowed me ample experience with writing, grammar, and research. I will be attending Rutgers University next year to earn a Master of Science degree in Microbiology. I am very experienced in the subjects of Biology, Chemistry, and Math on all levels. In addition to my devotion to the sciences, I have maintained an advanced-conversational level of fluency in French and an ability in the creative arts through coursework at the collegiate level and would be able to teach those as well.
