I have a B.Mus. from Five Towns College. I have been actively involved in music almost all of my life. I've played in numerous groups of varied styles, at various venues. I also have a passion for learning and education, which has always led me to delving deeply into all subjects I have encountered, and excelling in advanced courses in math, music, history, etc. I tutored 20 hrs a week all throughout my college career, and have experience as a teacher's aide in a school for mentally and behaviorally challenged children. As a student who has dabbled in so many areas, it is easy for me to assess when a teacher/professor is not explaining a concept in a method that helps the students. I have previous experience tutoring, but my teaching talent comes from my role as the unofficial tutor for most of my classes. I can see why students are missing the concept and I am creative enough to devise new approaches.
I am a successful graduate of Susquehanna University, having earned a BA in International Studies. This study of cultural anthropology allowed me ample experience with writing, grammar, and research.
