I use various teaching styles within my classroom. I try to find how my student learns best and accommodate to their needs. All students learn differently, so I try to be flexible in my teaching style. I do like to make teaching as visual and hands on as I can.
I have been a teacher with CPS for four years. I am currently a Special Education teacher for grades K-5. I teach a caseload of 33 students ranging in abilities. I have a significant amount of experience teaching reading, math, and writing to struggling learners. Coming from a family of academicians, and a father who has a doctorate in education, I learned to love learning at an early age and have always valued education and try to instill that in others. I am proficient in many areas and work well with all people from all walks of life, at varying levels. My experience comes from being in a helping profession, in which I assisted hundreds of people live up to and achieve their highest potential.
