I have taught both high school and college level courses. I have also had a job in which I helped create a data base of the K-12 Objectives in Mathematics for forty-nine states. Enthusiastic learner and tutor!

With respect to tutoring, I worked during the summer of 2009 as a teachers assistant for a summer-school program known as Korea Poly. The students were 3-6th graders and required assistance in completing homework and practicing and refining their English writing and speaking skills. Math was never an issue for me, I was always ahead of the curve in my math scores, and when I got the chance to relate that math ability to economics, it all made sense. Economics is second-nature to me. Economics puts calculus into real-world situations. Breezed through it in high school and first couple years of college, realized it would be an excellent thing for me to major in. Economics is all about logic, and being a logical person, economics always came easy. When you think logically, you are thinking economically. I took a class on abstract mathematics that followed Moore's teaching method, where the student would show their work in front of the class and instructor everyday for a part of the class. I would not be this strict because it is a little nerve wracking, but I do think some of it's principles are most instructive. This personal accountability along with the interaction I had with other students and the professor was the most I learned in any class.
