SAT - Math is one of my top subjects! SAT Math is one of my specialties. Math always came to me, but this test was not the most difficult to study for. I Scored a 770 on the math section, and 790 on the SAT II Math I Subject Test. I know the test inside and out and am very good at helping people to learn the strategies to understand what the question is asking and answer it in a timely maner.

Teaching new concepts, practice applying the new material, review, and more practice of the material to solidify the concepts.
I have helped my classmates and have had one official student as of this summer. However, I have learned how to explain concepts so that students dont just memorize, they will gain a thought process and applicable knowledge that will enable them to solve even the most complex problems. I began school as a Biology major for 2 years, so I have a great science background. I love to teach children. I finished my Masters program in December 07 and began teaching at the school I did my internship at, Briarcliff MS. I taught grades 6-8 and filled in for a Special Ed teacher at the end of the year. Also during that time I tutored a group of 6 graders in Math.
I don't think there is anything better than the feeling of helping a child learn. Every student have the ability to learn, we have to adapt our teaching styles so that all students can understand.
