I try to make things as fun as possible, and I try to help the student understand by putting the subject in a way that suits their interests. I like to joke around with the students, because it puts them at ease, and it develops a relationship with them that is hard to come by. Without that relationship, the teaching is harder, and the learning is harder. I still get the curriculum across, but in a way that the student understands.

I've achieved a BS in Education, and obtained a license to teach special education grades K-12 in the state of North Carolina. It is my belief that every child can learn, and that it's important to build on their successes and strengths.
