Experience Summary
Having grown up with a brother with a learning dissability, I was inspired to persue a degree in which I could assist people be successful and realize their potential. I've achieved a BS in Education, and obtained a license to teach special education grades K-12 in the state of North Carolina. I've tutored students in grammar, reading comprehension, writing, and Algebra I.
Teaching Style
My teaching style is geared towards the needs of each student. It is my belief that every child can learn, and that it's important to build on their successes and strengths. It is my goal to teach students how to use their strengths to be successful in all that they do, and establish connections between new information and prior experiances.
