I love working with all ages and generally prefer English as a Second Language students, but I enjoy working with everyone. My teaching style is very student centered as I try to figure out what a learner likes to learn and cater the instruction to them so it stays fun and educational. Being overwhelmed with information that is just not making sense can be frustrating and most teachers don't have the time to give individual attention to each student. A Little Bit About Me...

I am an accountant by occupation, and my tutoring experience is primarily as a volunteer, because I love learning and helping others to learn. I gave beginning piano and music theory instruction to a student who went on to become a professional flutist. I also taught beginning piano and music theory lessons to my neighbor's son, who went on to learn violin and recently guest conducted at his high school orchestra concert. As a volunteer at the New Brighton Community Education Center, I provided weekly Basic Reading and ESL tutoring.
