Building a good relationship with a child is key to helping them learn. When good relationships are developed children can then trust the teacher or tutor to help them in whatever way possible. This relationship builds a good emotional bank account and children will do hard things when asked. I know that all children can learn. I have worked with students of all ages and in all different subject areas. I have recently completed a semester of student teaching in a kindergarten class where I worked with the students on reading and writing skills. Over the course of the last 10 years both in the workplace and earning a 4 year degree I have learned many important skills in the areas of math. reading, and writing.
