I believe that it is important to have fun while learning. A good example would be my experience with science. I used to hate science, but my senior year of high school I had a great teacher in my Advanced Biology class. He made the class fun and entertaining. I believe that is the best way to teach someone.

A Little Bit About Me...

I recently graduated from Brigham Young University with a Bachelor's of Science degree in Human Development. However, before Human Development was my major, it was English Language. Through my four years at a major university, I have learned how to properly write research essays, what sources are credible for essays, and essay format. I also have had a pet-peeve for words that are incorrecly spelled and when there are grammatical errors in something professionally done.
I believe that children all come with different levels of cognition. Therefore, each child has their own learning pace. I like to give a child the time that he needs in order to accomplish his goal in learning. While pursuing my own studies in college, I realized that I not only love learning but that I love to increase learning in others as well. As a former English major and editing minor at Brigham Young University I helped many students write and edit research and English papers. Along the way I also had the opportunity to edit an engineering Master's thesis. I have tutored in paper writing in various subjects as well as specifically tutoring in creative writing.
