I strongly believe that all mathematical and statistical concepts can be explained and illustrated by the appropriate example. If a student understands how a certain statistical problem looks like in a small example, he or she will be able to describe the problem and the solution in an abstract formulation as well. I put a lot of effort in finding easy examples and then proceed in as little steps as necessary to the more abstract formulation. With a preference in sciences most of these credits were completed however my interest expands far beyond the realm into most every subject.
