I have just moved from Lisbon last August. I am fluent in both portuguese in english. I moved to Portugal when I has 9 years old and studied until college in the country. Portuguese Teacher

Hi, my name is Alessandra. I was born and raised in Brazil. When I was 10 years old my family moved to Baltimore, Maryland where we remained for eight years. I went to Elementary, Middle and High School in Baltimore. Once I graduated from High School I returned to Brazil to pursue my B.A. in Education. I've been a teacher for over 12 years. I have taught Preschool, primary grade levels and adults both in English and in Portuguese. Although I don't have a lot of experience tutoring, as an experienced teacher I consider myself a competent tutor automatically and look forward to sharing my knowledge with others.

Interlochen Arts Academy unlocked the artist within me. Their educational styles and values continue to inspire me as an educator. Hope College and continuing education furthers me with a variety of tools to design curriculum. Versatility together with concentrations in both Painting and Clay, an appreciation for the liberal arts, diversified cultural environments, and vivid discourses have guided me to point out new directions for my students.
