Sign Language is one of my top subjects! I am currently working as an American Sign Language Interpreter in Tennessee and the surrounding areas. I have an Educational Interpreting Performance Assessment (EIPA) of 3.4 and hold a B.S. in American Sign Language Interpreting from Tennessee Temple University. I have tutoring experience with the language. I also specialize in ASL Interpreting in Educational settings.

After studying American Sign Language for 4 years I received my B.S. degree in American Sign Language Interpreting from Tennessee Temple University. I went on to receive a 3.4 on the Educational Interpreter Performance Assessment and received my National Interpreter Certification- Written. I have Interpreted in a wide array of settings from Mental Health to Education; Education being my specialty. I have worked with the Deaf-Blind community as a Support Service Provider(SSP)as well as an Interpreter. My comments on tutoring Sign Language : Studying to become a sign language interpreter. Set to graduate this year

Sign language interpreter is what I am getting my college degree in. Am still learning but I do know a lot, as learning a new language takes a while. Sign language is something that I really enjoy. I've interpreter things from work, nothing big but still experience. I've completed ASL 1-4. Almost done with my degree as a sign language interpreter.

A Little Bit About Me...

During my years as an undergraduate student, I tutored middle school students in math for a program called America Counts. I have earned a bachelor's degree in Psychology, with a 3.8 GPA. My degree provided me with a wide range of coursework that allowed me to gain a vast amount of knowledge in math and science; algebra II, biology, psychology, neuroscience, anatomy, and physiology. Over the past ten years, I have worked for four school districts providing after-school tutoring to students with a learning disability. I have worked with all subject matters from preschool thru fifth grade. I have tutored my niece, nephew and cousin's children all thru elementary school.
