When I graduated from University I moved into industry and enjoyed a successful career including building and selling 2 businesses and leading a successful IPO. 2 years ago i moved into the non-profit world to give back my knowledge and experience to worthy causes. One non-profit involves tutoring underprivileged 6th-12th grade children in maths, english and geography as well as teaching them the sport of squash. I have participated in a 4 unit class where i taught Spanish to 8-11 year old children and it consisted of developing a plan that included songs and dancing to learn Spanish in a fun and animated way. I have done research on homelessness, and had an internship with a non profit that provides social services for those in need.
